Vacancy: CEO (5/02/2026)
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will provide strategic leadership and ensure full regulatory compliance and manage the day to day operations of the sacco.
1) Key Responsibilities
- Implement Board Policies and decisions
- Ensure compliance with the SACCO Societies Act, Co-Operative Societies Act and SASRA Regulations
- Oversee Staff, Operations, Finances and Risk Management
- Lead strategic planning, innovation and growth of the SACCO
- Promote transparency, accountability and member satisfaction.
2) Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Co-operative management or related field.
- Masters degree or professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CPS(K)) will all be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience in SACCOSs, microfinance, banking or related financial institutions.
- Strong knowledge of cooperative law and SACCO regulation in Kenya.
- Proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, financial management and people management.
